Data licenses and attribution
This page is a summary, not legal advice. The linked licenses are the binding terms; where this page and a license differ, the license applies.
Kaleidr answers draw on openly licensed data. A response built on such data
carries its terms in an attribution field: the credit to show, with a link
and the license where the response gives them.
- Show the attribution wherever you display the item: next to it, or in a credits area reachable from it, linked when a link is given.
- Keep
attributionwith the item when you store it or pass it on, so whoever receives it gets the same terms. - Don't suggest that a source endorses you or your product.
Share-alike content
Two kinds of content stay under share-alike licenses, however they reach you:

Share-alike reaches what you derive from these items, not the rest of your product. Where the line falls for data you hold alongside them is set by each license, not by this page: the ODbL, for example, distinguishes a Derivative Database from a Collective Database.
Attribution only
These carry no share-alike obligation:

Street addresses with use restrictions
Some address datasets limit how their records may be used. The restriction binds you for those records, and anyone you pass them to:

Content partners never receive
Ratings, reviews and photos from Yelp and Tripadvisor appear only in Kaleidr's own apps. Their licenses do not extend to partner sites, so the platform API, embeds and SDK widgets never return them.
